Terms of use

The guide is free to use and free to be listed in. These are the conditions that come with that.

What the guide is

The Sunshine Coast Business Guide is a directory of businesses on the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, the hinterland and Gympie, compiled from public sources and each business's own website, and checked automatically each day. It is operated by Coastworks AI. A listing is free and does not mean a business is endorsed, recommended or vetted beyond the checks described on the About page.

Accuracy

We check that each listed website is live every day and verify licence and ABN details against the public registers, but details can still be out of date or wrong. Confirm anything that matters, such as a licence, price or opening time, with the business itself before relying on it. The guide is provided as is, and Coastworks AI is not liable for loss arising from a listing or from a business found through it.

Other websites

Listings link to websites run by other people. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices.

Owners

A business owner may claim their listing by verifying an email address or website already shown for that business, and may then edit the description and hours. Owners agree that what they add is true, is theirs to publish, and is not offensive or misleading. An owner may have their listing removed at any time through the removal form. Anyone else who believes a listing is wrong or should not be published can use the same form and say why.

How listings are ordered

No business pays to be listed and no business pays to rank above another. Claimed listings appear ahead of unclaimed ones in search results, and that is the only ordering rule.

Using the guide's data

Source data is used under the licences listed on the data sources page. Do not copy the guide's listings in bulk, scrape the site, or use it to send unsolicited marketing to the businesses in it. These terms may change as the guide grows; the date below shows the last update. Queensland law applies.
