Every listing traces back to a public source or the business's own website. These are the sources, and the licences we use them under.
Names, descriptions, phone numbers, hours and the words people search for come from the business's own site, read each day by the system that checks the guide. Descriptions and the words people search for are never lifted from another directory.
ABN status and the year a business started trading come from the ABN bulk extract published by the Australian Taxation Office, used under its open licence.
Trade licence numbers and classes come from the QBCC licensed contractor register, CC BY 4.0. A licence shown on a listing was matched to the register by business name and checked again each week.
Place names, addresses and coordinates include data from the Overture Maps Foundation (CDLA Permissive 2.0) and Foursquare Places data, Copyright 2024 Foursquare Labs, Inc.

The business can claim its listing and fix the details, or ask for the listing to come down. A fix sent from an address at the business's own domain is applied within minutes.
